My Bio

Julie Tamanaco discovered Zentangle® while dreaming of starting her own business. A self described 'future cubicle escapee' Julie knew she wanted to do something with her life that brought calm and happiness to others while allowing her creative side to shine. She happened to see a local art show advertising something called Zentangle Art. The examples she saw were organic, mathematic and endless. She was hooked. The Zentangle Method taught her to focus on the process and just enjoy the unexpected results. After a period of local classes taught by one of the Zentangle founders she was fortunate enough to attend and complete the Certified Zentangle Teacher training. Now Julie is so excited to share her passion. She has found that the Zentangle Method can offer a quick break from the hustle of the day, a chance to share a new experience with friends and lessons in connecting deeply with our inner voice so frequently lost in the beautiful cacophony of our lives. The Zentangl e Method is also great for people who think they aren't artists. But as Julie says, "If you can sign your name, you can create Zentangle art!"
